As one the largest private medical school, UKRIDA has recently established a Biomedical Informatics Research Group to support its growing medical school’s needs. UKRIDA foresees biomedical informatics as a leading source of innovation in IT applications. That is why one of UKRIDA’s early efforts was to blend the research group into one of Information Technology faculty’s competencies.

The introduction of Biomedical Informatics competency coincides with the building of a research and education hospital. The new research hospital is going to be the ideal place for establishing collaboration among doctors, scientists, and students.
